Sevilla

Tonight is our last in Sevilla. We've had a great time, although I had to warm to it. It's flat, lots of narrow maze like back streets, a proper river, lots of history, variety, and some big attractions such as the Alcazar.

The rain in Spain....falls mainly on....Sevilla. At least for us it did, first wet day of the tour.

Just one of the interesting buildings in this town, applies to all towns we've visited in Spain. Lots of variety.

Trumpet section!! Actually, a few trumpets, and lots of bugles. It looked like some sort of youth ensemble, sounded like they we're practising for the bull ring.

We went to a flamenco concert tonight, performed by one guitar player, one singer, and two dancers, one male and the other, a lady. Most entertaining. Tomorrow, we're off to Portugal, with an overnight stop in a small place called Monsaraz. After that, Lisbon.
